The Photo Gallery module allows you to add multiple galleries that will be displayed on a designated gallery summary page.
With the Photo Gallery module, you can easily add and update images (jpg, gif, png) with captions and reordered images and galleries using a drag and drop interface. There is no limit on how many galleries as you can display on the gallery summary page of the site.
For clarity purposes you will be trained on the usage of this module during your Q & A session which will be scheduled once you have submitted this form to confirm you’ve reviewed all the necessary training materials.
Tips, Tricks, and Helpful Hints:
- Supported image file types that you can include on your site:
- JPEG
- PNG
- GIF
- Please do not, under any circumstances, upload .tif, vector, or illustrator files to this area.
- Images must be 800 X 600px or less or the system will auto resize the image for you.
- ”PX” refers to pixels, a unit of measurement for the length and width of your images. You can also resize images by pixel using photo editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Seeing a red X where you should be seeing an image?
- Verify that the image has not been accidentally deleted from your asset manager.
- Verify the image is saved in “RGB” (web format) format. Images that are saved as “CMYK” (printing format) may not upload or display properly. You can verify this using image editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Image not uploading properly?
- Verify it is a supported file type, as detailed above.
- Make sure that there are no Question Marks, Quotation Marks, or other special characters in the file name. These can cause errors in the system when trying to display an image.
